These kinds of toys are one of the things I really enjoy finding when I'm Metal Detecting. They are easier to find at a beach, but they can be found in parks and playgrounds as well.

It makes me think back to when I was a kid, but more important now, who lost this toy? Was this one of his favorites that he shouldn't have brought to the beach? Did Mom or Dad buy this for him or was it a gift from someone else? There are many more questions that can be asked but it really doesn't matter. The fact is that I can't possibly trace the owner of these toys, so now they belong to me and my childhood memories of little toy cars and trucks.
